Team in Spotlight

1. How long have you been working with Velotio?

It's been more than 2 years now. I guess time flies when you are enjoying what you do.

2. How has your career grown since starting at the company?

Velotio has helped me get to the next level in my career while shaping my thinking and decision-making process. This has allowed me to learn things beyond just tech. I also got my first promotion here, so that makes it extra special. 

3. What is your favorite thing about working at Velotio?

It's difficult to choose between the empowering work, amazing peers, and the encouraging work culture.  However, the most rewarding part for me is what I get to do every day. I love playing with cutting-edge stuff and working in a fast-paced technology landscape. Being a part of Velotio is inspiring, inviting, and highly motivating. 

4. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

Anything that distracts me - from mixing Peri Peri with Poha to making memes. I also play Video Games, the ones with a good narrative and story. 

5. What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I have an OCD for rhymes... until it chimes.

6. Where’s your favorite place in the world?

Not sure yet as there’s much to be seen. I really like Trampoline Parks though because of so much dumb fun.

7. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I would love to play the role of Martin Hart while Matthew McConaughey plays Rust Cohle, and we both reenact the first season of True Detective. That would be truly wonderful.

I would also love to meet my past Gymnastics coaches who taught me a lot of things, which I didn’t understand at that time but I’m starting to get an idea now.

8. Three words to best describe you:

Always Curious, Mostly Rational, and Occasionally Lazy.

9. What tv show are you binge-watching right now?

Haven’t binged in a while. I don’t binge unless something really hooks me in. Although, these days I occasionally dab into “The Newsroom”.

10. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

I would want the ability to talk to anyone about anything. More perspectives mean more wisdom.

11. What is one food that you cannot resist?

I can smell homemade Mutton Curries from 30 feet away. I also love freshly brewed coffee.
