‍1. How has your career grown since starting at the company?

It has been a great journey so far! At Velotio, I have come across a lot of opportunities to grow my skills. Working on a diverse set of projects has broadened my knowledge and perspective on designing systems.

2. What is your favorite thing about working at Velotio?

Hands down, it has to be the people, the management and how they come together to create a great working environment. People at Velotio are talented and hardworking, and by association, this pushes me to give my best consistently. And the management is approachable and presents everyone with many opportunities to showcase one's skillset and capabilities. 

3. What career advice would you give to aspiring young engineers?

You are your only competitor! 

Focus on improving yourself!  

Don’t be afraid of change because change is the only constant!

‍4. What are your three most overused words/phrases?

Huddle?

Are you there?

‍5. What would be the title of your autobiography?

"Life: A Journey of Ups and Downs"

6. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

A book to read, spending more time with family and friends. And maybe watch a good movie or a web series if time permits.

7. What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know? ‍

Well, I used to be obsessed with binge-watching. There were times when I used to watch the whole seasons of web series in a span of a day because I couldn’t bear to deal with the suspense, the anticipation and the waiting. 

8. Where’s your favorite place in the world?

I love spending time around nature, so any such place would be great for me. A place that can help me detox my mind, and fills me with renewed energy. 

9. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?

I would want to go back in time to meet my younger self advising him not to be afraid. Tell him to continue to try new things taking calculated risks. And that if something doesn’t turn out to be as expected, there’s a lesson in that too. Learn the lesson and move ahead. 

10. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

Teleporting. There are two reasons why. The first and obvious one, I would like to skip the travel time when travelling to places. And second, I am a huge fan of Minato Namikaze from Naruto (Japanese Manga series), and I am always fascinated by Teleportation Jutsu.
