Bludot approached Velotio with a vision to build an AI-powered task-management platform specifically for companies or individuals who deal with multiple external collaborators/vendors. The idea was to allow intercommunication between users regardless of their organization so everything is organized and managed in one place. They also wanted this solution to go beyond helping companies organize their work and leverage psychological triggers to motivate users to finish their tasks sooner.
Bludot is a San Francisco-based early-stage startup, which is a part of the Accelerator program. The Founders, Carlos Garcia (CEO) and Sophia Zheng (Founder & CEO) of Engineering) of the Seed-funded company approached Velotio with a vision to build an AI-powered task-management platform.
Bludot was looking for a technology partner that has the complete end-to-end skillset required to transform their idea from a PPT to an MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
A team of six was assigned to the project, who leveraged agile UX processes to ensure rapid iteration between the design and the development team and came up with a user-centric design pretty fast.

The first phase of the project involved creating empathy maps for a deeper understanding of user needs and behavior. Thorough competitor research was conducted to identify opportunities for innovation. A series of brainstorming sessions helped define feature requirements and ideate product workflows for different user personas. Sketches and low-fidelity prototypes were shared with the Bludot team within 30 days for the first code sprint.
The new task management solution built by the Velotio team is currently in Beta. The team continues to collaborate with the Bludot team and reiterate the product based on the ongoing feedback they are receiving from early users and getting the product ready for the final launch. The Bludot team has been extremely happy with the ownership exhibited by the Velotio team in bringing their vision to life in such a short time.
